With help from their mom, these twins take dress-up to a whole new level.
As Halloween approaches, Arizona mom Katie Stauffer has been posting photos on Instagram of her twin daughters, Emma and Mila, in various costumes. The girls, who are almost 2, are celebrating the spooky holiday all month long, which seems fitting considering they were actually born on Halloween.
“I started the tradition on their first birthday to do a few costumes leading up to Halloween day,” Stauffer said. “It has been so fun I may continue after Halloween with one per month or until the girls say so.”
Stauffer, a mom of five, told The Huffington Post she typically looks to pop culture and current events for her costume ideas. So far, Emma and Mila have dressed up as Barb and Eleven from “Stranger Things,” Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and two of the Kardashians. She said she hasn’t done as many dress-up photos with her older kids, but luckily her toddlers still seem down for some costume fun.
Surprisingly, Stauffer said her twins don’t have their costumes ready for the day of Halloween. The mom, who blogs at Over Our Wall, doesn’t seemed too concerned, though.
“I literally think of something and have it ready the next day,” she said.
With this much inspiration, she definitely can’t go wrong.
